How To Tweak 4 Basic Bass Lures To Trigger Explosive Strikes!
Lots of new-fangled lures out there on the market these days,and each spring brings the next wave...
I find, more often than not, that the PROVEN basic lures work at least the same, if not better than the new ones.Turns out the old school guys had it all figured out a long time ago.So today, I'm going to serve up some tweaks you can make to the basics, to increase your catch count dramatically.Turns out their inside secrets are working for beginners and experts alike, all across the country.
Here's just some of what they're going to show you:
* A wicked Hawaiian sea bass lure that releases unique sounds to trigger involuntary strikes! (The sounds are created using "quick-shot water displacement", and they hit the "all out attack" button in a bass' brain.) (IMPORTANT NOTE: if you use the smallest model, it
works just as well for freshwater bass.)
* A "dead sticking" strategy John uses with his #1 bait that provokes attacks from stingy bass! (This presentation triggers aggression from a different area of a bass'brain... and he uses it when all else fails.)
* The old school "sneak retrieve"secret for maximizing any bait's bass catching power... every moment it's in the water. (This will squeeze dozens of extra strikes out of your day -- and it's easy to do!) ...along with hundreds more insider secrets handed down through
the generations.
The crankbait is the lure of choice when fishing deep waters. They also are quite effective in rivers and streams. They key to this lure is more in selection rather than manner of use. In selecting a style of crankbait to use your first consideration is the size and shape of the lure. Your goal is to match your lure to the forage of the fish you are targeting. Crankbaits come in a variety of shapes,colors and sizes which make this goal
achievable.
Take the time to observe the water before you begin to fish. Try and find out what the primary forage is. IF it is fish like bluegills you will want to use a round fat crankbait. If you see shad surfacing then thin round bait is called for. When needle minnows are present a pencil shaped crankbait can be used.Next you want to select a crankbait that runs at the depth required. The size and shape of the plastic lip on a crankbait determines how deep it will swim while it is retrieved.

Some good, and cheap bass or panfish lures? I will fish with Lots of curly tailed grubs, Plastic Worms, Spinnerbaits and a couple small bass crankbaits for them 12 inch bass 
. What are some good brands for those?
l've used the bass pro shops brand with great results. they have a good size and color assortment. l like their 8 and 10" model in black on a 4/0 or 5/0 hook for night fishing. robo worms are good but a bit more costly. get yourself a couple rebel pop-rs for surface. great lures. try a shad finish or a bass finish. a chug bug is another good surface lure. then a small assortment of rapalas. match them to the size and color of the forage in your body of water. if you have any flea markets around, those are great places to fill your tackle box. lots of good rod and reel finds also.
