alternatives to earthing......battery terminals??
suppose i dont want to use the conventional earthing....the rod dug 6ft deep(not for home purposes....there is a small experiment).....can i use the negative/positive terminal as alternative??
Not sure I understand your question... but earthing it not necessary for a lot of things (in fact, it is forbidden in a variety of applications). Tho for the most part, all devices should have their chassis earth grounded, which you provide via the third prong (the round one) of a conventional (USA) outlet.
You can ground either or neither (but of course, not both) terminal of a battery, though in certain applications like UPS power supplies it's neither. What is your application?
