Troll Costumes--Be Different At Halloween
Troll costumes are a great Halloween costume choice. Trolls are much misunderstood mythological creatures. In all truth some trolls have a reputation as evil creatures, however most trolls are actually fun and friendly midgets, who are just like the troll dolls which had great popularity in years past.
Those dolls were little people with big eyes and a very unusual hairstyle. Troll Halloween outfits are mostly based on this unusual hairstyle, which for many people means that a wig will be required. Even if you do have long hair you probably really don,t want to dye it bright blue or purple.
Those older troll dolls from yesteryear are a now collectors items, and some collections run into hundreds of dolls all with different hairstyles and colors.These little trolls are very happy looking people.
However the trolls of ancient mythology were usually very ugly, and were in some cases mercenaries for various evil entities and very nasty humans. This style of troll appears in computer games for example World of Warcraft.
Troll costumes are a good choice at Halloween, or for any fancy dress party. Begin with a garish bright colored wig for your costume. The hair of the wig is pushed up and tied in a a knot on top of your head. This really looks quite cute to most observers. Suitable clothing is any kind of normal everyday shirt, with pants, or worn with a skirt in the case of the ladies.
Makeup requires a somewhat dark shade. Masks and costumes in the happy troll style, can be purchased online. If you so desire, you can be a much more malevolent type of troll which is represented by officially licensed World Of Warcraft masks. Personally I like the happy troll. He fits much better into the fun of Halloween, but naturally this is your own choice to make.
You will first of all need to pick a suitable wig. It is definitely not advisable to dye your own hair in brilliant hues. Online you will find a great selection of troll wigs to browse through. You can look at the pictures and pick the one you like. Face masks for evil trolls can also be found online.
If you decide to be a troll this Halloween you have made a good choice. The costume is easy to put together and basically the wig is what you need.
